What is Hygiene Code?

HACCP and the Hygiene Code are not the same thing. Where the two guidelines differ is in the ease of applicability and the set of requirements. The NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) is responsible for enforcing available hygiene codes for various industries.
