What is LCI guidelines?

The LCI is an expertise center of the RIVM falling under the Center for Infectious Disease Control. This center deals with step-by-step plans and preparedness plans around infectious diseases for both national medical guidelines as well as for healthcare facilities, Municipal Health Services, primary care and occupational health professionals. Written in full, LCI stands for National Coordination of Infectious Disease Control. Advising on medical aspects of the National Vaccination Program toward the government and health care institutions is also part of the LCI’s responsibility.
